Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (review)

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is probably one of those movies you’ll either love or hate, but all will agree that the movie charts new territory as an adaptation of the comic book series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O’Malley. Set in Toronto, Canada, the movie stars Michael Cera and a lineup of other new talent.

With ratings of 8.2 out of 10 on IMDB and 81% on Rotton Tomatoes, it seems the movie has gained considerable acceptance among many. The official Scott Pilgrim movie website offers tools for fans to help with viral marketing of the movie and serves as a portal into various social networks. There’s even a Pilgrim’s Punch-Out app for the Apple  iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

Various remixes on YouTube are likely to be popular with the YouTube culture where remixes are usually seen as a sign of acceptance. These official remixes are probably designed to seed further viral videos about the movie. Trailers and other clips are available on the official YouTube channel.

There are five trailers for the film on Apple’s website offered in various formats all the way up to full High Definition quality.
